Church Description:
We are loving and giving church that values Biblical preaching, traditional and contemporary worship and a commitment to carry out the Gospel of Jesus Christ in our community and the world. Our church is 216 years old and has been part of EPC since 2012. We have >500 members, offer 3 worship services and have over a $1.3 million budget. We have a staff >20, 15 Elders , 20 Deacons and blessed with excellent lay leaders and volunteers on our ministry teams. Christian education, local and global mission work, pastoral care and stewardship are strengths of our congregation. Our church is nestled in downtown Lebanon, Ohio which has a small town feel but big city amenities with downtown Cincinnati just 30 minutes away.
Position Description:
The Senior Pastor visibly models a Christian lifestyle worth emulating to Lebanon Presbyterian Church and the Lebanon community as an ambassador on behalf of the church. He or she is emotionally and spiritually healthy, demonstrating joy and hope. The Senior Pastor works closely with Session in formulating vision and strategy for the congregation. He or she also serves as Head of Staff by managing, overseeing, directing and supporting the LPC staff. The Senior Pastor has the primary preaching responsibility and is expected to provide excellence in preaching to all ages. In addition, the Senior Pastor should frequently engage in the oversight of teaching, evangelism, pastoral care and prayer ministry.
