Eastminster Church is located on the northeast side of Wichita, Kansas. We have three distinct worship services. Each of our services is a bit different—either in setting or in style. But they all include music, prayer, and teaching you can apply to your everyday life. We’re currently meeting both on campus and online. Our mission is to encourage people to enjoy the fullness of knowing, loving and becoming like Jesus. Through our 66-year history, Eastminster has been a firm foundation for Wichita. We’ve carefully responded to new ideas, but we’ve never lost sight of God’s vision for our church. We are a community of faith that’s both rooted in our history and reaching for the future.
Position Description:
The Associate Pastor of Discipleship’s chief responsibility is to lead the congregation to fulfill the Great Commission found in Matthew 28:19-20. A distinctive priority of this role is to engage and prepare members and attendees of Eastminster for personalized reproducible ministry as disciple-makers. The Associate Pastor must feel a calling and exhibit the gifting for encouraging and equipping people to enjoy the fullness of knowing, loving, and becoming like Jesus.
