Christ Community Evangelical Presbyterian Church (CCEPC) of Great Falls, Montana, is currently a mission church in the EPC. Our core group of members is dedicated to growing a conservative Presbyterian presence in Great Falls. The church body has recently been accepted into the EPC and desires to grow the church so it can meet the spiritual, mental and physical needs within the community of Great Falls. We have begun to develop ministry outreaches as we desire to grow by reaching young families with children. To ensure effective ministry choices we seek guidance from a skilled church growth professional and desire a man who is effective at evangelism and able to shepherd the church. Prior to our recent acceptance into the EPC, CCEPC was a Reformed Church of America (RCA) congregation since 1963. As a result, the church owns our Church building and surrounding property outright, and there are many in the community who have been a part of the church in the past.
Position Description:
CCEPC is seeking a Teaching Elder who is passionate about reaching the community of Great Falls for Christ. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of the Gospel and its daily application in believers' lives, along with a strong desire to share the gospel with unbelievers. They will lead the congregation in becoming a particular church in the EPC and possess the ability to preach, primarily through expository teaching, while challenging mature believers and nurturing younger believers. A servant leader, the teaching elder will seek to support individuals mentally, physically, and spiritually. He will exhibit integrity, relational skills, confidence, and humility. Ultimately, we are searching for a teaching elder who desires to expand the influence of the doctrines of grace and effectively reach the community of Great Falls with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
